Another weekend gone gone gone...

Hey Bandits. When you work full time and run a business on the side, spending your work days thinking "If I were home I could do this that and the other thing", weekends are a precious commodity.

Sunday nights are the worst for me, it's the realization that I have to wake up tomorrow commute 2 hours (1 way) sit at a desk for 8 hours and then commute back home the 2 hours it took to get there. I know I'm lucky to have a job in this economy and I can't complain about my boss what so ever. I do as I please. I just wish i didn't have to travel so much to do it. I'm still trying to convince him to let me work from home at least 1 day a week I'd love 3. OK I'm babbling.

My point is I have to cram alot in two days. Joe and I alwasy say to each other" wasn't it just friday night?" "What happened?" Luckly Joe leaves me to my craft/office on Sundays to paint away. Here is what I did today.....

Lots of pendants. A Cheer girl play doll set and a Princess Cake topper. They will be slowly making their way into the SHOP tonight and tomorrow.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! K

Oh pretty please can I have it?

While browsing the Internet today at work (I really should be ahem working) I came across the most DIVINE little houses. If I had property I would love to have one of these tiny cottages for my very own where I could escape and craft.

These amazing houses are made by La Petite Maison I don't see a price but I'm sure they are super expensive. Maybe if I hit the lottery one day. Here is one of my favorites. It has running water, media room and sun room!

Zoey wouldn't mind having this little Dog house for her own either....

One can dream right?

I guess there is next year

We'll unfortunately bandits the Jets lost. They started out fantastic but fell apart in the second half. The team is young and hopefully this will be the beginnings of a team really coming together. I was glad to see the Saints made it. This years Superbowl is going to be exciting.

Other than a disappointing Sunday I though I would show you my desk in process. Lots of pendants AND something new! Cake toppers they are the tall guys in the back. I just have to dress up their outfits and I think I will be adding numbers to the front of the outfits.

I also hit 40 Sales in the Shop I'm really excited. I exceeded my goal for January. Now to set my goal for February!

Have a great week - K

Hello bandits! If you read and loved the Twilight series/saga then you will love this book too. I'm not done reading it yet, I'm halfway through but I'm really enjoying it.

Joe tells me to slow down that I read to fast. Read to fast? If I'm really into a book and enjoying it I just want to get to the end. I HAVE to find out what will happened next. I can't help it. I should probebly get a library card, Barnes and Nobel can get expensive.

Read about Shiver HERE

3 day weekend here I come!

Aaaah a 3 day weekend! I live for 3 day weekends. When you work full-time and have to commute 2 hours each way 3 day weekends are like hitting the lottery. That 1 extra day makes all the difference. I can get all my errand running done tomorrow. Do a quick clean of the house or as my MIL would call it a lick and a promise, and then have Sunday and Monday to paint, paint, paint. I love it. Plus the Jet game is on Sunday day so that will keep Joe out of my hair LOL.

If all goes as planned I'll have some new creations to share. If your lucky like me to have a 3 day weekend ENJOY!

I made it!

I hit 33 sales, I made my goal of hitting 30 for January and I hope to obviously make more since were not at the end of January. Depending on where I am at the end of the month I will set my Feb goal then.

I forgot to share a picture I took of my messy work space on Sunday so here it is.

I have the remaining birthstone pendants to finish on that desk, I also started a queen of hearts pendant to go along with Alice. I'm really excited about her. I'm trying to build some stock right now, I plan on doing some craft shows come the spring and summer. I was scouring flicker today to get ideas for show displays. If anyone has an idea how to display pendants I'd love to hear from you.

We'll I'm ready to hit the sack, 3 more days and whoo hoo 3 day weekend! Love it.

Birthdays and Resolutions

Hello dear bandits I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Here at bandit headquarters we had a birthday with some good family fun, crafting time, and resolutions made.

First I'm making my New Years resolution, I know a week late, but better late then never. I decided to make monthy resolutions or goals. January's resolution is to be a better blogger. I will strive to blog at least every other day. I also would like to hit 30 sales in my etsy shop. I'm at 29! and lastly be a better picture taker especially family pictures.

Saturday was my Niece Kelly's Birthday. Number 23! She's a nurse are we are so proud. Here is a picture or 2 from Saturday.

First picture starting in the back from left to right. My brother in law Frank, my husband Joe, My SIL Sandy, My Mother-in-Law and Father-in-law. In the front is the birthday girl Kelly and her boyfriend Joe.

Same picture but me and Zoey are in it! That's me holding Zoey.

Our new sofa and chair came yesterday. They look wonderful in our little living room. Since it's small this little change really made it more spacious. I'll post pictures soon. I want to get it during the day when the light is good.

Today I made some more pretty pendants. I made an Alice in wonderland, a cute Irish Lasse named Deirdre (she loves Irish soda bread, collecting fairy dust in the meadow near her cottage and the smell of morning dew after rain storm.

Along with those cuties I made 2 wood tile pendants. Creamcicle Stripes and Meadow of clovers both have pewter/bronze inital charms.

That's my udpdate for today. I'm off to watch the rest of H.P. and the goblet of fire on ABC Family

Oh My it's Windy

WOW is it windy here in NJ. Yesterday and today it's been down right frigid and windy. I'm waiting for the house to blow away. I don't mind the cold but when you add the wind with the bitter cold, well that's just unnecessary.

Joe and I have been huddled in the house today other than the occasional walking of the pooch, really Joe has walked her. Thanks hon! It's given me a chance to finish some unfinished projects.

I started a new line of wood doll pendants called Birthstone Dolls. I have January, February, March and April done. I think they came out pretty darn cute. They can be customized to match the recipient. I have 3 in the Shop now.

I also made this little girl named Julia. She loves turtles and bologna sandwiches

I also have a new ballerina pendant and heart pendant I'll be listing tomorrow. Great for Valentines Day.

I'm off to get back under the covers.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Bandits. I hope you all enjoyed time with family and friends. We had a great time at my BIL New Years Eve. Lots of food, card playing and watching the ball drop. Can't get better than that when you are with loved ones.

I started the New Year off with a bang as far as crafting. I've got some new treasures to finish then add to the shop tomorrow or Monday.

I was featured in a treasury today. Thank you SandysCapCodOrig view it HERE

Joe and I took advantage of Raymour and Flanigan's no money down no interest until 2014 this weekend. We bought a new sofa, 2 ottomans and a chair. Chocolate Leather. I can't wait for them to come next Saturday. It will make our tiny living room more spacious getting rid of the big bulky sofa and loveseat we have now. I can't wait to post pics here.

We just got back from seeing Sherlock Holmes (Which was fabulous) I'm off to bed for now. Enjoy the rest of your Holiday weekend.
